The Variable Bore Ram (VBR) Packer is designed to fit onto the maximum specification of ordinary ram blocks (e.g., a 5″-5 1/2″ packer is installed on a 5 1/2″ ram block). This allows the VBR packer to seal multiple pipe sizes within its specified diameter range.

The innovative design includes:

• Small Inserts: Located in the center, which slide outward as the pipe diameter increases.
• Big Insert: Fan-shaped components that slide inward or outward to accommodate smaller or larger pipe sizes, respectively.
